Alaska Herbal Analysis Labs was founded by incomparable experts Nicholas Braman and Brück Clift, MD. Our mission is to provide the highest quality analytic and biological testing available in Alaska. We intend provide insightful consulting services to aid in the development of natural products.
Nick Braman (Operations Manager) spent his early life in Juneau, graduating from Robert Service High School in Anchorage. He attended both UAA and UAF, obtaining a B.S. in Chemistry (Biochemistry emphasis) and a B.A. in Philosophy in 2006 and 2007. He has more than a decade of experience as a multi-disciplinary scientist and has worked in various research labs at the University of Alaska Anchorage, the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, and the Department of Veterans Affairs doing analytical chemistry as well as toxicology and pharmacology research on various animal disease models. In addition to laboratory research experience, he has several years of practical environmental toxicology and chemistry experience overseeing collection, analysis, and data quality validation for various environmental monitoring and cleanup projects.
Brück Clift (Owner) is a family physician who is originally from Aniak. She graduated from East High School in Anchorage, and from UAA with B.S. Degrees in Chemistry and Biological Sciences. She then traveled to Arkansas to obtain her Medical Doctorate from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, Little Rock. She completed her M.D. in 2010 and returned to Alaska to complete her residency with Providence. She has been practicing medicine in the Mat-Su Valley for two years.
